Why this feeling? Barely two weeks since I arrived, and I feel like I have been there forever, Manila, megalopolis, sultry and fascinating, bustling with life, sound of horns and clouds of pollution, and in an instant, the campaign, green, buffalo grazing, fields of coconut trees, mango trees, greenery out of sight, we jump bus to the boat, and there is paradise, sea, fresh, salted, sun, fresh air (or almost). That's how started this small weekend in Mindoro, an island south of Luzon (the island where Manila is located). After a somewhat stressful trip, we were on a dream beach, white sand, coconut palms. This Friday afternoon will be reserved for relaxation, pure and simple, just relax from the stresses of urban life.
In the boat, we had the luck of a young Filipino couple of super cabbage (husband works for the army American and I do not know), they came to White Beach for the second time, and they gave us a French who runs a diving club on the beach, he helped us find accommodation (4 in room 1000 pesos, that's only 5 euros per person the night ^ ^).
The next day is gone with divers snorkelling at two different locations, and there I was just in my element, (if we except the jellyfish): Star enormous seas, turquoise blue, full of fish everywhere, and even a turtle (whaaaa), and I think even seeing a pygmy seahorse (a few mm long).
the evening, we keep the masks to observe another phenomenon magical phosphorescent plankton, or the stars of the sea ... .. Just beautiful head in the water, with the moonlight, stirred a little arm, and thousands of flakes appear, it's the kind of thing that make me love the sea!
The next day, a small hike in the heat, to the waterfalls (which proved somewhat dry, but the guide brought us there in the right place ?...) and with a stunning view of the coast, and all its hidden coves, turquoise and coconuts!
One something missing ... maybe she will come ...
Then back to Manila in pollution, noise .... and back course, still ....
