This week, we stayed three nights at camp X-Calacoco held by Jean-Pierre, Quebec. We had access to the pool the adjacent restaurant. Camping modest, but not too expensive when compared to others on the Caribbean coast. We were steps from Playa del Carmen where we could easily supply us in one of the superstores. We had some neighbors in X-Calacoco, but Mike, a guy from Newfoundland, particularly stood out. Beer in hand to 7hAM, he found his way to enjoy life. With his big camp, he traveled to Mexico several years, ever since he left the marine . He is always ready to help and throw a good chat. Po has caught several times! ;-) By the way thanks to his last jasette, it was discovered that he knows the owners of a private cenote where we might go next week.
Tuesday, we decided to head to Cancun. Cancun proved to be a second Miami. Wholesale bulding essence large top-end ones littering the main roads (4 lanes) paved.
We Cancun, it was the story of two hours, we prefer to take the ferry to Isla Mujeres (Island of Women). The island got its name because the Mayans who worshiped the goddess Ixchel (goddess of fertility) is named.
Do not try camping in Isla Mujeres, there should be no, at least not accessible by car. The first night we stayed at the southeast end of parking in a large restaurant. Not a bad place if it fails to mention the young fourniquer corner coming at all hours of the night.
The view was beautiful Cancun, which led us in the morning to take a walk to visit energy center Mayan nearby ruins. To me, this is the ideal spot for a yoga session and a few sun salutations (a nod to Andréanne).
We leave in search of a campsite. Search useless since there is no camping! We asked all the hotels, restaurant a few to several local ... NADA! During our fruitless search, you can see a floating island. This mini island is created from scratch, it is created to "using recycled plastic bottles and attached by using a net. It's amazing what one is willing to do to save nature!
We finally rented at the chic hotel Casa Ixchel www.casaixchelisla. com a room for two days. The art of negotiation that we master this, we can obtain the lease of over 50% off! Yeeeea Is happiness, lust, brief life as I love it! It is like two doves cooing in their nest. We have a toilet to us, showering us with a huge bed, the total! In addition, the guy from the reception, informs us that drink bienvenidos awaits us at the restaurant of the hotel, the best mojitos ever ! After my second, I tried to extract the recipe Moy, the bartender, but nothing to do. Instead, he simply bring us delicious tapas on the house. Why not! Haha
is happiness! It seems to me that I have used that word but it has literally short: the pool, spa, sona, large sun beds, pergolas, sea, sand, seashells, the sound of waves ! Ouahhhhhhhhh
And en rajouter, voici la vue que nous avons de notre chambre quand nous sommes couchés dans le lit…C’est complètement et tout simplement l’Amour!!! lol
